Theresa R. Siedel

1934 – 2020

West Springfield – Theresa R. (Dimino) Siedel, 85, died peacefully Tuesday morning surrounded by her loving family.  Theresa was born in West Springfield the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Dimino.  She was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and worked as a  Manager and Cook at J.W. Wimpy's Restaurant and later enjoyed working at the Big E and the Agawam Senior Center.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and cooking Italian dishes.  Her husband Fred R. Siedel Sr.died in 1987.  She leaves her son Fred  Siedel Jr. and his wife Debra; a daughter Kim R. Cummings; two brothers Joseph and Vincent Dimino; two sisters Rosemarie Fitzgerald, and Angelina Berthiaume; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Kaila, Ryan, Leah and Lauren; and three great grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella and Harper.  Theresa was predeceased by her son-in-law Thomas Cummings and sister Mary Wojnarowicz.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
