Therese C. (Philibert) Audette Goguen, 92, passed away on December 11 ^th . She was born January 11, 1924 in Holyoke, to Peter and Marie (Roy) Philibert. Therese enjoyed a 46 year career as a cosmetologist. She was an owner of both Audette Coiffures and Chez Lorraine salons, and did hairdressing for the Valley Players and Storrowtown Theater. She was a stylist and model for many professional shows. She lived most of her life in Holyoke, and also resided in South Hadley and Largo, FL. Therese was a member of the Culturama Choral Group in Holyoke and enjoyed acting in plays for Perpetual Help Parish. She was proficient at the piano and singing, and enjoyed dancing. She is survived by four children, Lynn Ann Philip of W. Springfield; Arthur M. Audette of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; Michael G. Audette of Walden, NY; and Lawrence P. Audette of Holyoke. A daughter Paula Leven, predeceased her in 2008. She also leaves a sister, Lucille Barthelette of South Hadley, 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Therese was preceded in death by spouses Maurice Audette, Harold Vigneux and Arthur Goguen. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Cross Parish. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at Our Lady of the Cross, Holyoke. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
