Thomas J. Graham was born April 14, 1922 in Springfield to the late George and Elizabeth (Symington) Graham. He quietly and peacefully passed on December 19, 2015, at the age of 93. Thomas lived his entire life in the town of West Springfield. He worked as tool maker for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in CT, retiring in 1983. He met the love of his life, Madeleine, later in life and they were married in 1976. Tom & Madeleine loved to dance and made many friends at the dance clubs they belonged to. They also went on many cruises with their dancing friends, which they really enjoyed. Tom was also a skier and would go to Blandford Ski Area on an almost daily basis. Tom also helped teach several family members the skill of skiing. He and his brother-in-law, his skiing buddy, would travel to VT to ski when they could. They also enjoyed a trip to Switzerland with a group of skiers. In his younger days, he loved to ride his motorcycle with his best friend Warren Elmer, traveling all over New England. Tom was predeceased by his wife Madeleine in 2011. He was also predeceased by his sisters and their husbands, Hazel & Elmer Roberts and Mildred & Lyndon Goodrich, his niece and her husband, Linda (Goodrich) & David Caron, and a great niece Dorie (Huffman) Aper. Left behind to cherish his memory are nephews E. Graham Roberts of TX, Wayne Goodrich and his wife Theresa of CT, his niece, Beverlee (Goodrich) Huffman & her husband Gary of IL and his devoted niece/best friend/ and care giver, Irma (Goodrich) Lelievre of Chicopee. He also leaves many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. He also leaves a step-son Dennis Lesieur and his wife Shirley, a step-daughter Diane Furno and a step-grandson, Shawn Furno. The committal service will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A calling will precede the service on Tuesday at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. For more details please go to curranjones.com.
