T. Paul "Uncle Paul" Mc Cabe, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday April 30, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, son of the late John J. and Geneva G. (Moakley) Mc Cabe, he was a lifelong resident of South Hadley. Uncle Paul was a graduate of the Hampden College of Pharmacy and employed by Belchertown State School for 27 years. He was an active communicant of St. Patrick's Church where he volunteered in many areas. He enjoyed tag sales on Sunday mornings. He dedicated his time by taking care of family and friends. Uncle Paul was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He leaves a brother John "Jack" Mc Cabe of California, a sister-in-law, Patricia Mc Cabe of West Springfield, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Mc Cabe, a sister Marion Haczynski, and a niece Jane Haczynski. Per Uncle Paul's request there will be a private family service. Donations may be made to the Soldier's Home, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects by attending a Memorial Mass on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 5:30 pm at St. Patrick's Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley, MA.
