Thomas F. Murphy

1932-2021

AGAWAM- Thomas F. "Tim" Murphy, 89, of Corey Colonial, died peacefully Wednesday morning in a local nursing home.  Born in West Springfield, he lived in West Springfield and Agawam for most of his life. He worked for 30 years as an IRS Agent before retiring in 1988. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills and was a member of the Dante Club and Shaker Farms Country Club. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean War. He leaves a son Thomas Murphy and his wife Julie; a stepdaughter Deborah Tino of CT and his grandchildren  Thomas (TJ) Murphy, Sean Murphy, Keira Murphy and Brittany Tino. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 pm from the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home.  Family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills Tuesday at 10:00am for the Funeral Mass.
