Tina M. (Parent) Cote, 68, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 5, 2024 peacefully at home.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Fernand and Gloria (Haney) Parent. She lived in Springfield most of her life and was a graduate of Commerce High School. Tina worked as a medical receptionist at local doctors offices. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to read, crochet and doing crossword puzzles. She leaves behind two daughters, Kandi (Jim) Eggleston of Suffield, Teressa (Kenny) Shaw of Agawam, a brother, Mark Parent of Avon Park, FL, and three grandchildren, Lily Bailey, Katherine Eggleston and Elijah Oquendo along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her best friend of over 30 years, Dorothy Taclof, who was the Thelma to her Louise. She was predeceased by two brothers, Larry Parent, Perry Parent and sister, Rena Beyer. All services are private and the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
