Todd M. Downie

1967 – 2019

West Springfield – Todd M. Downie, 51, was called home on January 22, 2019.  He was born, September 14, 1967, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, son of George M. Downie and the late Wendy (Tennant) Downie.  Todd had tremendous passion for music, literature, and sports.  He will be remembered as a gifted guitarist, a talented writer and his great humor.  As a Christian and a "Friend of Bill", he was always willing to reach out to those in need.  Todd will be missed by all.  Besides his father, he leaves a brother Robert G. Downie and his wife Kristin and sister Melissa St. Laurent and her husband Timothy.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sister's of St. Joseph, 577 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or to the Springfield Rescue Mission, P.O.
