Veronica M. Ferguson, 93, of West Springfield, Mass, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, after battling a long illness. Born on July 23, 1929, Veronica was the daughter of Stanley J. and Agnes (Tumielewicz) Hrydziusko. Veronica grew up in Windsor, VT, was graduated from Windsor High School, and, after receiving training as a secretary in Springfield, MA, ultimately became the executive secretary to the president of Monarch Life Insurance Company. Veronica "Ronnie" Ferguson was the loving wife of George W. "Bill" Ferguson, who predeceased her in 2009. In addition, she was the devoted sister of Stanley J. Hydrisko and Wesley J. Hrydziusko, who, too, predeceased her in 2002 and 2018, respectively. Surviving her death are one niece, Rosemary Hydrisko Dougherty of Merrimack, NH, and three nephews, Wesley Hrydziusko, Jr. of Windsor, VT, Robert Hydrisko (Jeanine Hydrisko) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and Whitney Hrydziusko (Jackie Hrydziusko) of Alpharetta, GA. A fourth nephew, Wayne Hrydziusko, predeceased her in 2019. Services and interment, to be held at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield, MA, will be private.
