West Springfield – Veronika Trajkovski, 83, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Veronika was born in Bitola, Yugoslavia and came to the United States in 1968 so her and Petar could build a better life for their family. She worked 40 years as a book binder for the Bridgeport National Bindery in Agawam where she reluctantly retired in 2016. She enjoyed cooking and baking for a full house of friends and family, where you never left hungry. She leaves her husband of 64 years Petar Trajkovski; three children who she loved more than anything; Romeo Trajkovski and his wife Maria, Robert Trajkovski and his wife Debra and Julie Karas and her husband Stephen; her five grandchildren, which were her pride and joy, Christopher and his wife Samantha, Katrina and her husband Brandon Madden, Nicholas, Gianna and Arianna. She also leaves four great grandchildren which were truly a gift; Auden, Joseph, James and Mira. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 2nd from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Thursday, Oct. 3rd at 10:00am for the funeral Mass followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
