SPRINGFIELD – Vincent M. Coffey, 50 of Winterset Drive died Sunday at home. He was born in Springfield and has lived here all his life. A 1981 graduate of Technical High School, Vinny was an All-Western Mass Wrestler and worked as a mail handler for the United States Post Office's Bulk Facility for the past 28 years. He loved to hang out with his family and was an avid woodworker, building the cabinets in his house. He leaves a son Mark A. Coffey of Springfield; a grandson Koby Coffey; three siblings Craig Coffey and his wife Bonnie, Cindy Danner and her husband Jeff and his twin brother Vance Coffey. He also leaves his life partner Sherry Bouffard and her children, whom he helped raise, Kaitlyn and Allison Bouffard and Kyle Quenzer. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. The visiting hours will be held at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. A private graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
