Virginia I. (Mosher)Grolemund Bauer died January 1, 2016 at home. She was born in Springfield August 22, 1918, the daughter of Walter S. and Helena (Bissell) Mosher. She was a lifelong resident of West Springfield having attended local schools and American International College. For many years she worked for the Town of West Springfield as a Social Worker in the Welfare Department and later worked for Speed & Hegeman Real Estate and Keyes and Mattson Inc. She was a member of Mittineague Congregational Church. She was predeceased by her first husband Floyd W. Grolemund in 1968 and by her second husband Frank F. Bauer Jr. in 1998. Her son Scott E. Grolemund died in 2004. She was also predeceased by her brother W. Deane Mosher and sister Elaine G. Mosher. She is survived by her sister Lois M. Barnes and her husband Edward C.
