Obituary

Virginia R. Stover, 90, of West Hartford, and beloved wife for 68 years to the late Donald R. Stover, D.M.D., passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022.  She was born on August 31, 1931, in Pittsburgh, PA to Hortense Melva Snow and Otto Fredrick Ritzmann, and raised in Springfield, MA where she graduated from Classical High School. She attended Deaconess School of Nursing and worked as an office manager for her husband's dental practice for many years.  Ginny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed retirement in Sun City West, AZ, and traveling in her RV throughout the southwest, and to Cape Cod.  She had a passion for sewing, quilting, and cross stitching. She was a devoted member of P.E.O. and cherished her P.E.O. sisters. Ginny was an active, longtime member of the Assemblies of God Church.  She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Kosiorek of Pelham, MA, and her husband Joseph, and Lori Yu of Unionville, CT, and her husband Leslie; her son, Mark Stover, of Kinnelon, NJ; her grandchildren Brian, Rachel, Scott, and Steven; her great grandchildren Chase, Blake, and Henry; and her sisters, Eleanor Plaus of Longmeadow, MA and Louise Roche of Palo Alto, CA.  She was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Marie Ritzmann and her brother, Robert William Ritzmann. A private funeral service will be held. There are no visiting hours.
