Walter S. Kamyk, 87, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 4, 2026.  Born in Chicopee, son of the late George and Louise (Robak) Kamyk, he grew up in Chicopee and moved to Agawam in 1972.  Walter worked for over twenty years in the maintenance department at Western New England University.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.  He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth T. Kamyk on February 22, 2021.  He leaves his wife of sixty-seven years, Joan (Kamyk) Frost, three sons, Walter Kamyk of Bangor, ME, Karl Kamyk of Wilbraham, Timothy C. Kamyk of Agawam, a daughter, Kelly Gagne of Feeding Hills, three grandchildren, Nikolas Kamyk, Katherine Kamyk, Brittany Kamyk, a great-grandchild, Hunter Kamyk and nieces and nephews.
