Wayne Hurd

West Springfield – Wayne Hurd, 73, of Monastery Ave died Sunday at home surrounded by his loving family.    Wayne was born in Springfield, grew up in West Springfield and had lived in Agawam before returning to West Springfield recently.  He was a self-employed carpenter and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He leaves three daughters Lisa Johnson, Lauren Hurd and Leilah Hurd.  He also leaves a brother Richard, a sister Florence Sargent; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  A private funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home.
