Wendy Elizabeth (Tennant) Downie, 69, daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Tennant of Rhode Island passed away peacefully on September 8, 2017. She leaves her husband of 50 years George M. Downie and her children Todd M. Downie, Robb G. Downie and his wife Kristen and Melissa W. Downie and her partner Tim St. Laurent. She also leaves her twin sister Pamela and her husband Larry Meisner of PA, a brother Stephen Tennant and his wife Natasha of Toronto, her grandson Colby Manning and a niece Gretchen Meisner. Wendy lived with a grace and compassion that impacted everyone she met. She will forever be remembered for her creativity, her artistry, her style and her love for all things. Calling hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral service and burial will be private.
