Yvette L. Perez

1945 – 2023

South Hadley – Yvette L. (Theroux) Perez, 77, died Wednesday surrounded by her loving family.  Yvette was born in Holyoke, grew up in the Flats and was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School.  She moved to South Hadley in 1970.  The most important thing in Yvette's life was her family.  She was an excellent baker and cook and loved to crochet and sew.  She leaves her husband of 55 years Altagerges "George" Perez; three children and their spouses; Brenda and Paul Labbe, Michael and Melanie Perez and Gary and Biana Perez; eight grandchildren Peter, Jack, Sara, Michael II, Anthony, Isabella, Sophia and Mason and a sister Eileen Boucher.  Sadly, Yvette was predeceased by a grandson Joseph Labbe and her three brothers Roger, Raymond and Norman.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, Saturday, July 22, 2023, starting at 9:00am with a funeral home service at 10:00am followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
