AGAWAM - Yvette H. (Baillargeon) Valenti, 91, entered into eternal rest on Sunday August 9, 2015 in St. Augustine, FL. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Raoul and Mary Jane (Dufault) Baillargeon, she lived in Agawam most of her life, moving to Florida in 2001. Yvette was a graduate of Cathedral High School and worked for many years as the office manager for Dr. Mark Haselkorn in West Springfield. Her beloved husband, James D. Valenti died in 2003. She leaves a son, James D. Valenti, Jr., of San Francisco, CA, a daughter, Ann Marie Valenti of St. Augustine, FL, a brother and his wife, Roland and Eileen Baillargeon of Springfield, three grandchildren, Matthew Valenti, Natalie Hoak and Dominic Hoak as well as many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Baillargeon and Raymond Baillargeon. The funeral will be Tuesday August 25 at 9 am from the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street, Agawam, with a Mass in Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills at 10 am. The burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours are Monday August 24 from 4 to 7 pm. Flowers are respectfully declined.
