SPRINGFIELD-Zita Carole Ziemba, 79, was found peaceful, in eternal rest at her home in Springfield, MA on March 10, 2014. Zita was born in Chicopee, MA on January 26, 1935, daughter of the late Stanley and Marie (Kielbossa) Ziemba. Zita graduated Cathedral High School in 1952 and attended STCC. Zita worked as an insurance underwriter. Zita was blessed with five children; Zaza, Zita, Jacob, Jamie and Thomas. Zita is survived by her brother Sigmund. Zita was an avid reader and gifted artist. She also loved visiting the shores of New England. She will be sadly missed. Calling time will be 10:30-11:30am Friday, March 21 at Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main St., West Springfield, MA. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am, also at Curran-Jones. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
