Joe Curran

Owner/ Funeral Director

Joe Curran, son of Joellen West and Richard Curran grew up in West Springfield and graduated from West Springfield High in 1982. He then went to Stonehill College in Easton, MA and graduated with a degree in business management in 1986. Joe went to the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Boston where he was licensed to become a funeral director/embalmer in 1987. He resides in West Springfield with his wife the former Gia Caruso and their twin sons Philip and Anthony.

Vincent Govoni

Funeral Director

Vincent R. Govoni is a lifelong resident of Agawam and was a 1978 graduate of Agawam High School and a 1981 graduate of the former New England Institute of Anatomy & Sanitary Science and Embalming, where he received his Associate Degree in Funeral Service. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over forty years. A church organist and soloist for over forty years, Vincent regularly plays the organ and sings at Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills and St. Jerome Church in Holyoke. He has also been a substitute organist for many churches in Western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut and plays and sings for funerals and weddings. He is active in his home parish of Sacred Heart in Feeding Hills where he has been a lector, catechism teacher and Eucharistic Minister. In his spare time he is in a hand bell choir through Agawam Congregational Church and has done acting in local musical theater groups.

Ryan Kelleher

Funeral Director

S. Ryan Kelleher is a 3rd generation funeral director with over 30 years in the funeral business. He grew up in Shelburne Falls and was raised living upstairs from his family’s funeral home. A graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science, he has worked in the West Springfield community for over 20 years and is a former volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ryan is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his family. He, along with his family are communicants of St. Thomas Church. Ryan is resident of West Springfield with his wife Annie, daughter Brynn and son Conor.
